These mills were west of Black Hawk on Clear Creek, west of Chase Gulch and east of the Gilpin Engine House.

The mill used amalgamation and concentration processes.  It had 40-85 stamps, 2 outside amalgamation plates, 2 Wilfley tables.  It's capacity was 115 tons.

You can find a shipping summary form the San Juan Mine to the Hidden Treasure Mill for September 1890 in Documents.

Looking west at the Hidden Treasure on right and Midas on Left.  Note the three rail leading to the mill.   Three rail stopped at this point.   The Gilpin mainline can be seen climbing the hill on the left.
